Actress Angelina Jolie, a human rights campaigner, slammed Bush's policy on the Iraq war, arguing they spend too much money on arms and too little for fighting diseases.
The actress, who recently adopted an Ethiopian baby girl named Zahara, whose parents are believed to have been Aids victims, is trying to aware the corporate world about Aids and HIV, because the business figures have the power to pressurize governments.
She states: "I'm not saying I'm for or against war, but the amount that is spent every month, being, I think they said, five billion dollars, and to realize that we're spending 15 billion on AIDS, for over, what is it? Three years, five years?"
Just a few days ago, Jolie revealed how worried she was when she brought Zahara from Ethiopia into the United States, because the baby was suspected of being infected with Aids.
Angelina declared: "We didn't know at first. I was terrified, but prepared, because it is something I think we should all be ready to take on."
