Angelina Jolie is now in Berlin, promoting her directorial debut “In the Land of Blood and Honey” but, as expected, not all reports coming from there are about her film. She reportedly told Brad Pitt she wanted to meet with her ex – and made him cry.
The latest print issue of The National Enquirer (story via
here) claims Brad surprised Angelina when he showed to support her in Berlin, for the premiere of her movie.
However,
also in town was her ex, Billy Bob Thornton, who is promoting a film at the Berlin Film Festival as well. Angelina thought it would be a good idea if they met and did some catching up.
“Angelina had contacted Billy Bob – her second husband – under the pretext of congratulating him on the film, but then asked if they could get together. He agreed to meet, and the two 'began talking on the phone and e-mailing behind Brad’s back,' revealed the insider,” the tab writes.
She didn't stop here either. While out on a dinner date with Brad, she informed him that she was about to meet with Billy and, what only made matters worse, that there was nothing he could say or do to get her to change her mind.
The report claims Brad got so mad that, after fighting with her on the topic for a short while, he left the restaurant in tears.
As a side note, it's almost amazing how such a thing could have happened in such a public place and no paparazzi camera was in sight to capture it going down.
“Brad flipped out. First he said, 'No, you can’t!' But then Angie laughed in his face and said, 'Oh, yes I can…and I am.' Brad is shattered and feels totally betrayed,” says the insider.
“He had flown to Berlin specifically to be by Angie’s side to support her and her film. He was so upset and caught off guard that she could be so cruel that he ran off in tears,” adds the same spy.
Perhaps just as infuriating for Brad is the double standards always in place where Angelina is concerned: while she's allowed to be as friendly as she wants with her exes, he can't even name Jennifer Aniston in Angie's presence.
The report claims that this is the final straw: Brad won't take any more of this.
“Brad warned her that there will be consequences if she really goes through with seeing Billy Bob. He’s not going to put up with her ignoring his feelings anymore,” says the same spy.
