It's not for nothing that Angelina Jolie is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world: aside from a pair of mesmerizing eyes and voluptuous lips, the actress is also famed for her flawless complexion. Her secret ally is something called Dragon's Blood.

It's just a face cream though, despite the pompous name. Sold by Rodial, it is often referred to in the press as a “liquid facelift,” with benefits praised by celebrities and regular women alike.

Angelina too swears by it, because it helps her maintain her impeccable skin, while also fighting all the signs of aging and a rather hectic lifestyle.

“Dubbed the 'Liquid Facelift,' the beauty product works by adding essential volume to hollow skin. It claims to plump, sculpt and lift the complexion whilst protecting against ageing and reducing skin sagging,” the Daily Mail writes.

The British tab claims to have it straight from facialist Nuz Shugaa, who also lists Amanda Seyfried and Rachel Weisz as clients, besides Jolie, that Angie is never without a container of the gel.

Considering her life and how rarely she gets to get a proper beauty sleep, she most certainly needs it.

“Angelina needs to keep her skin plump and hydrated to maintain the youthful radiance she is famed for. Lack of sleep, hectic lifestyle with extensive travelling all contribute to depleted levels of hyaluronic acid – which result in the skin looking tired, dry and dull,” Shugaa is quoted as saying.

“This incredibly aging to all women in their thirties. I recommended the Dragon’s Blood’s sculpting gel to Angelina as it gives her a dewy complexion (for appearance of sleep!) with added volume which define her beautiful high cheek bones,” the facialist further notes.

Dragon's Blood costs £75 ($118.4 / €94.3) and is made from the red sap of the sangre de drago tree. It became available in the UK earlier this year and proved such a hit that it sold out in minutes.

Women were literally queuing outside Harvey Nichols to get it, so perhaps it's not that far-fetched to imagine that Angelina too has tried it – and fell in love with it as the above report claims.
