Angelina Jolie Is The Sexiest Movie Star Ever

We totally agree on that one...

Angelina Jolie came first in a top of "100 Sexiest Movie Stars Ever" drawn up by Empire magazine. And I must say, I don't have a problem with it. I'm not the biggest Angelina fan out there, and I do feel that over the past couple of years she's been in the news more for her personal life than for her professional achievements - but then again, thinking back on 'Mr.& Mrs. Smith" and even on the almost-forgotten and hardly ever mentioned "Original Sin" (yes, I DO remember that sex scene with Antonio Banderas), I must admit she does give "sexy" a whole new meaning. It doesn't hurt that this fall she emerged stark naked from a golden pool of water in"Beowulf" either.

"Jolie seems to have been precision built to turn cinema audiences into drooling wrecks. The pneumatic figure, the feline eyes, the lips that could have been stung by several hives of bees. Simply unimprovable" Empire says. Her sexiest moment ever? "Beating the hell out of Brad Pitt in Mr and Mrs Smith and then banging the hell out of him by way of apology". Yes, well, what can I say? I have a feeling millions of people out there also agree.

So, who else is in the top? Natalie Portman comes in second place, followed by that hot James Bond piece, Daniel Craig. I agree with their names being at the head of the top, I disagree with the order. Craig SO deserved to come in second place. "Being Bond is always sexy - OK, maybe not so much for Roger Moore. But it's Craig's blue-eyed brutishness and unchecked masculinity that push him to the top of the list. The granite physique doesn't hurt either," Empire says. Couldn't agree more. I loved Natalie Portman in "Closer", I really did - but I have a hunch she wouldn't look as sexy as Daniel Craig emerging from the ocean in tight swimming trunks. OK, maybe if she were topless...
