On the red carpet of the Golden Globes, Hollywood stunner Angelina Jolie said (when a reporter asked her how she and Brad manage to balance their professional life with their family one) that she was considering taking her acting career easily and dedicate herself more to raising and spending more time with her three children. That was just something taken out of context but, if the rumor I'm going to tell you of is true, then it means that Angie is really thinking about cutting her movies short. Ever since 'Sin City' came out, especially after seeing what a huge hit it was to the public, there has been talk of a sequel. A while ago, filmmaker Robert Rodriguez confirmed that 'Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For' was in the pipelines, also hinting that Angelina Jolie might be the perfect dame for the part of Ava Lord, from the original comic book. Later on, the rumors kept getting stronger and, until today, people were still saying that Angie was in talks to the producers about the role. The guys at 'Cinema Blend' talked to someone from 'inside' the movie studio, where rumor has it that the negotiations with Jolie came to a dead end because of her inability to find time for the project in her busy agenda. The same source said that she will be replaced by Rachel Weisz, with whom the executives are now in talks about the part of Ava. If Rachel can be brought in, the original cast (Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis and Clive Owen) will reunite on the set in 2008, when production will begin. Without being a skeptic, I must say that we should take this just as it is: something said by an unnamed source and not confirmed by anyone. Plus, Angelina would be a much better 'dame' than Rachel, whose entire charm resides entirely on her being one of those classic beauties.
