Angelina Jolie, one of the most important characters of the upcoming Beowulf game/movie is set to appear naked, at least in the movie, according to the game's narrative designer Gabrielle Shrager. It seems that it's a virtual version of Angelina we're talking about, symbolizing "everything that's gold and glorious", as Shrager said. That "gold" is not a metaphor at all, as the hottest female on the planet will feature golden shaders, in her virtual version.

It seems that the reason for this decision has to do with the game/movie's plot, or so says the game's narrative designer: "There is much sexual innuendo in the game, because the faustian character who is Grendel's mother goes about getting you to sign the dirty deal with her by using her extremely tempting body. So you have that aspect of it and there's definitely no way around it. It's a very, very important part of it."

Angelina may lend her body for the film and game but she didn't do the same with her voice, as she's not featured on the list of voice actors for Beowulf, the game. It seems that she was unavailable because of scheduling problems, so we'll have to do without her beautiful voice, but hey, there's always the virtual version of her body to gaze at. Will she be featured naked in the game as well? We don't know that for sure, but if our lucky guess is confirmed, the eye candy of Beowulf will surely not be the graphics.

The title will surface on the PS3, PC, Xbox 360 and PSP and it's a pretty promising game, as you can confirm if you've watched a couple of trailers. We'll see if the combination between the oldest legend of the British mythology and Angelina's skills can turn into a blockbuster...
