14 DAY TRIAL // Brad Pitt and Lupita Nyong’o met when he cast her as Patsey in the Steve McQueen-directed “12 Years a Slave,” which has already earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the upcoming Oscars. She is, by all accounts, his protégée, but fiancée Angelina Jolie hates it, says a new report.
This isn’t the first time that this report makes it out in print in the tabloids, with the National Enquirer writing about a so-called possible romance between Pitt and Lupita precisely one week ago. The tab claimed that the actor was head over heels in love with his young protégée.
The latest Life & Style issue doesn’t go as far as to claim that he loves Lupita, but it does say that Angelina Jolie is fuming, just like the Enquirer alleges.
“Brad Pitt has become actress Lupita Nyong’o’s biggest cheerleader — and Angelina Jolie doesn’t like it,” an insider reveals for the tab, adding that Angie is in a “jealous rage” over the praise Brad showers Lupita with.
“For all her beauty and success, Angelina can be terribly insecure. The idea of Brad lavishing his attention on another woman — even if it’s just as his protégée — drives her crazy,” the insider continues.
Then there’s this to consider: according to most reports, Brad and Angelina became romantically involved whilst shooting the action flick “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” in which they play spy lovers. At the time, Brad was married to Jennifer Aniston, and soon divorced her to be with Jolie.
As the saying goes, once a cheater, always a cheater. As this new report puts it, Angelina is thinking the same: if Pitt cheated on Jennifer with her, what’s stopping him from cheating on her with another woman.
Of course, officially, Brad has always denied talk that he and Angelina started dating while he was still married, saying that the relationship began only after his marriage ended.
