Angelina Jolie is relieved she didn't have to re-file adoption paperwork after a woman claiming she was the biological mother of the Ethiopian baby girl Zahara came forward to thank the actress for giving her child a better life.

An Ethiopian judge has ruled that Angelina Jolie is the legal guardian of her baby daughter Zahara, according to Contactmusic.

Judge Dadnachew Tesfaye, who investigated the case, said the actress did nothing wrong and the baby in now legally hers.

"The adoption is legal and still stands. The evidence presented to the court shows the child was an orphan. That is sufficient", the judge declared.

Meanwhile, the actress is said to have been planning to adopt again.

"Most of the night I just thought about how quickly I want to adopt again. It's a very special thing. There's something about making a choice, waking up and traveling somewhere and finding your family", Jolie said at the first annual Worldwide Orphans Foundation benefit ( October 24, in Manhattan Hollywood Star).

The "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" star, who attended the gala event with brother James Haven, announced she is partnering with Dr. Jane Aronson, the foundation's founder, to build a pediatric AIDS center in Ethiopia, where Zahara was born.

"I personally am not willing to wait any longer for action by the United States or any government while children are suffering and dying," the actress confessed.
