Angelina Jolie continues her promo tour for “Maleficent,” the upcoming Disney animated film based on the studio’s most famous villain, with an interview with the latest edition of People magazine, whose cover she graces.

The full interview will be available in the print issue, out at newsstands tomorrow but, from what we can make from the online preview, Angelina will be touching upon a series of topics she is usually very guarded about.

You probably guessed already that one of them is her wedding to longtime partner and fiancé Brad Pitt. They are yet to announce a wedding date – which is obviously driving fans and celebrity media mad – but they are talking about it, she says.

Jolie confirms what she hinted at before, namely that her and Brad’s six children will be involved in every step of the wedding.

“We are discussing it with the children and how they imagine it might be. Which is verging on hysterical, how kids envision a wedding. They will, in a way, be the wedding planners. It's going to be Disney or paintball – one or the other!” Angelina laughs.

If we’re to take a wild guess, saying these things distracts from the fact that she’s not really answering the question, which makes sense, if you think about it. Brad and Angelina have always valued their privacy above their work, so they’re not about to announce a wedding date or to talk about the planning until the moment they decide they want to.

Saying that the kids are planning their wedding is a more delicate way of saying they refuse to answer the question.

On a more serious note, in the same interview, Angelina opens up about her recent mastectomy and how it has impacted her relationship with Brad, who was by her side, supporting her from the moment she decided to have the surgery until after she’d had reconstructive breast surgery.

“You're not lovers or boyfriend and girlfriend as much as you are a family,” she says. “I'm really happy about the choices I've made, and I feel even more connected to other people, especially women,” Angelina says of her experience and going public with it.

The cover of this week’s issue of the magazine has a stunning portrait of Jolie, with a pull quote from the interview reading, “We’ve been through so much.”

“Maleficent” also stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, and Juno Temple, and will be out at the end of the month.
