Another day, another “Fifty Shades of Grey” rumor. After Emma Watson and Ian Somerhalder were linked to the project as candidates for the leads, it's now Angelina Jolie and William Levy's turn.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” is now in pre-production, with a script based on the best-selling trilogy from E.L. James.

The story was initially inspired by the love story between the protagonists of the “Twilight” books and movies, but later moved to more mature ground.

Angelina Jolie might play Anastasia Steele, while Levy is being considered for Christian Grey, E! News reports.

Levy has already said he's game for it, but chances are Angelina might want to steer clear of this for several reasons: she's focusing on directing more these days, and she's not in her 20s, as the Steele in the book.

As for the rumor that Emma Watson was “frontrunner,” she recently told the press she hadn't even seen a script yet so, no, she was not in the competition for the part.
