14 DAY TRIAL // The man praying for an accident victim in Missouri, then mysteriously walking away, has turned up online.
As I mentioned, he approached a crash victim before a risky operation to extricate her from a wrecked vehicle started. The girl survived and, just as fire department officials turned around to thank him, he vanished.
According to The Blaze, the mystery man which many have called an angel is actually a priest named Patrick Dowling.
He came forward by commenting on the National Catholic Register website. He thinks that responders have done all the work in saving Katie Lentz.
"Credit goes where it is due," he has posted.
Rev. Dowling works at the Diocese of Jefferson County, which has been confirmed by spokesperson Deacon Dan Joyce, head of communications for the diocese.
