The smartphone is now available through Nextel sales channels

Motorola Mobility and Nextel have just announced the immediate availability of Motorola MASTER Android smartphone. The device is now available through the carrier’s official channels though no details on its price have been revealed yet.

Motorola MASTER was introduced a few days ago in Chile and is now available for purchase through the same carrier, Nextel.

The smartphone comes with Push-to-Talk (PTT) service and runs Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. According to Motorola, this is the first device that combines Android platform, Push-to-Talk (PTT) and a QWERTY keyboard.

Motorola MASTER is Motorola´s first Android-powered smartphone with PTT over 3G. With this launch, Nextel´s users with have an enhanced experience for both their professional and personal lives,” said Manuel Cigaran, key account manager for Motorola Mobility Peru.

In addition, the smartphone sports a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, autofocus and 4x digital zoom.

The phone’s main camera also provides users with the possibility to capture panoramic photos and video with an HD (720p) resolution.

On the inside, Motorola MASTER is equipped with a 1.2 GHz single-core processor and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB memory card included).

Other highlights of the phone include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, along with Hotspot and Wireless Modem features that allows users to share data connections.

Nextel also mentions that Motorola MASTER comes with the Contactos Nextel service that automatically backs up all contacts stored in the phone.
