Reveals most of its secrets, apart from the launch date of course

The Lynx satellite radio from Sirius XM may not have yet reached retail, but this Android powered gadget has just starred in an FCC teardown giving us a glimpse at its insides.

As you can see in the picture above (provided by Wireless Goodness), at the heart of the device stands a STMicro processor which is seconded by Samsung SDRAM and Flash memory, and by a microSD card slot.

Right above this, there’s also an Immersion logo, which seems to suggest that the radio could support its touchscreen haptic feedback technology.

For those of you eager to get your hands on the Lynx, Crutchfield is having it for pre-order listed at $250 (192 EUR).

Sadly, we still don’t have a release date for this satellite radio, but the FCC visit makes us believe that the Lynx will reach stores soon.
