Lately, we've seen various handsets made available for purchase at lower price tags than originally launched with, and it seems that more of them have just got the same treatment.

Following the recent reports on Sears Wireles having a nice range of Android devices priced much lower than what their carriers originally asked for, news on Amazon making a similar move emerged.

Of course, other mobile phones are also present in Amazon's offering, but what can be seen in the Android side seems as appealing as it can be, that's for sure, as a recent article on Android Central notes.

For starters, we should note that all the reduced price tags Amazon put in place for these Android handsets come with a two-year contract agreement attached to the.

Samsung Vibrant and Captivate are both on Amazon, and both of them are available for purchase of only $39.99. Amazon announced an impressive price cut for these handsets a few weeks ago, when people were able to purchase them for only $0.01.

While these two are off that promotion, other devices were included there, such as the HTC Hero, Samsung Intercept and Samsung Moment M900 for Sprint, the HTC Aria for AT&T, or the Motorola DROID A855 for Verizon Wireless.

T-Mobile myTouch Slide and the T-Mobile Garminfone are also priced at only $0.01.

As for other phones there, we can count the Samsung Epic 4G from Sprint, which costs $199.99 on contract.

The HTC DROID Incredible can be purchased for only $69.99 on a two-year contract agreement with Verizon Wireless, while the Motorola DROID II goes for $89.99. The high-end Motorola DROID X was priced at $149.99

Those interested in purchasing a new Android device with an AT&T contract can get the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 for only $29.99.

Interesting enough, the HTC EVO 4G is available for purchase at full contract price tag, namely $199.99.

As stated above, other special offerings are also put in place at Amazon, and you can check on them on the retailer's website here.
