There’s a new update for Android Market available for download in Spain and Italy. The update allows for direct billing in these two countries, making it easier and more comfortable for users to purchase apps via Android Market.

Currently, there are seven countries that accept this method of payment, but more will probably be added in the near future. Android users in Spain and Italy will be able to take advantage of this new feature through Vodafone.

The update is being rolled out OTA (over the air), so users should be on the lookout for a notification that will inform them on the availability of the latest Android Market update.

Other countries that allow users to use Android Market direct billing include: Germany (Vodafone and T-Mobile), United Kingdom (Vodafone), United States (AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint), Japan (NTT DoCoMo, Softbank and KDDI) and South Korea (KT and SK Telecom).
