Although HTC has already confirmed that some of its newest Android smartphones will receive a Jelly Bean upgrade in the following weeks, additional info on the devices that will get the long-awaited Jelly Bean update has just emerged.

The folks over at Football4PDA claim they have been able to confirm with sources close to the matter that some HTC devices will receive an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in the next few months:

“List of HTC Devices that will get JB Update: Evitare Evita Fireball Jewel К2 TotemC2 Ville VilleC2 Valente.”

Those unfamiliar with HTC’s codenames for these devices may want to check out the list below:

HTC One X+ (Evitare), HTC One XL (Evita), HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE (Fireball), HTC EVO 4G LTE (Jewel), HTC One SV (K2), HTC One VX (Totem C2), HTC One S (Ville), HTC One S C2 (Ville C2) and HTC J ISW13HT (Valente).

Although some of these smartphones have already received the promised Jelly Bean update, some of these handsets haven’t been mentioned by HTC yet when referring to its Android 4.1 upgrade plans.

The leaked details come in line with HTC’s latest statement, which mentions that the company will not update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean smartphones with 512MB or less RAM, including the HTC Desire X and HTC Sensation.

Obviously, these devices are missing from the leaked list, but that was to be expected. Those who still own one of these Android phones might want to upgrade to a newer device or search for other unofficial Jelly Bean builds.

Unfortunately, the list does not contain any info on the exact release date for these updates, though the Taiwanese handset maker has already started the rollout for some of the smartphones mentioned, including HTC One X+ and One X. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
