Recently, mobile game publisher and developer Gameloft has made available a new game for the owners of devices running under Google's Android operating system, namely Avatar.

The game is based on James Cameron’s Avatar film that managed to impress the entire world and broke box office records not too long ago.

Basically, the new mobile game is meant to bring the blue world that Cameron created for the big screens, down to the smaller screens of Android-based mobile phones.

And it manages to do so, sending players in a world where indigens on Pandora fight against the human invaders trying to take over their planet.

However, even if the plot is the same, the story in the game is said to take place some 20 years before the events in the Avatar movie.

As expected, the game comes on Android handsets with a wide range of appealing features, including incredible graphics that would make mobile phone users rejoice.

Other great features are also present with the tile, aimed at providing all handset users out there with an enhanced experience when playing the game.

Here's what the company says about the game:

- Uncover an original story that takes place two decades prior to the film and learn how the first avatar came to be. - Go on a journey of exploration, danger and adventure in an unimaginable world. Fight for survival in tense action sequences against ferocious beasts and carnivorous plants. When the battle reaches its height, take to the skies of Pandora on a banshee in epic shoot‘em-up sequences. - Join the Na’vi in their native village. Help protect their world by accepting their mission: To fight against and conquer the human invaders.
