Samsung is a bit confused when it comes to Android 5.0 Lollipop for Galaxy Note II, as the South Korean company hasn't been able to offer a straight answer concerning the availability of the update.

Last week Samsung Gulf was pretty clear when asked about the availability of Android 5.0 Lollipop for Galaxy Note II, and confirmed that the update will not be available for this particular smartphone.

However, Samsung Gulf did not say whether the update would not be available in a certain country or worldwide. One day later, Samsung Spain confirmed to a Galaxy Note II owner that Android 5.0 Lollipop update will in fact be available for download at some point this year.

Then a few days ago Samsung Gulf said once again that Android 5.0 Lollipop wouldn't be available for Galaxy Note II, but did not mention whether or this would only happen in a country, region or worldwide.

Ask your local Samsung reps about Lollipop availability

Over the weekend, we got more info on the said Android 5.0 Lollipop for Samsung Galaxy Note II, which seems to shed more light on the update's availability.

According to Samsung Denmark, Android 5.0 Lollipop will definitely be available for the Galaxy Note II. They were also kind enough to provide additional details on the matter and said that each market has their own updates, so the availability can vary from market to market.

Basically, the update will not be available in all countries and if you want to know whether or not your Galaxy Note II will receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update you will have to inquire the local Samsung representatives.

That being said, those lucky to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop should expect major improvements and lots of new features, including better notifications system, new TouchWiz UX, and visual enhancements.
