Google stumbled upon a few bugs it had to fix

In a previous story, I told you Google was tipped to be rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for devices such as Nexus 7 (2012 & 2013) and Nexus 10 on November 3.

Well, as the date passed and we haven’t seen anything of the sort happen, you might be wondering what’s going on.

The Dutch website GSM Help Desk has the answer for you. The much-anticipated update has been apparently postponed for November 12.

It seems that, at the last minute, Google stumbled upon a few bugs it had to fix in order to get everything working for you.

A second reason for the delay might be that the search giant wants the OTA roll-out to coincide with the Nexus 6’s official launch.

Well, waiting a few more extra days won’t kill anyone, but I know how excited you all are about getting Material Design to work on your older Nexus tablet.

In related news, Google has posted the Android 5.0 Lollipop factory images for the Nexus 9 tablet on its website and you can go download them right now.

Also, NVIDIA announced in a video that it would be offering the same update for its Shield gaming tablet this month.
