More and more Samsung devices are getting the new build

Earlier this week we brought you good news when we told you the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (Exynos version) was finally receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in Poland and South Korea.

Samsung seems to be placing an emphasis on its Exynos platform here, which isn't surprising given the fact that the upcoming Galaxy S6 will rely on Sammy’s home-grown silicone architecture.

Anyway, a few days since the roll-out of the Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 4 began, Sam Mobile brings us news that the Snapdragon-version of the Note 4 has started getting Lollipop treatment as well.

Samsung hasn't forgot its Snapdragon models

Users of the model SM-N910F in Germany are now able to get the new update off Samsung Kies, so the OTA update shouldn't be far behind.

But that’s not all. The Galaxy Note 3 LTE is also receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in a lot of countries. The models are being bumped up just a few weeks after the standard version got its chance to dab at Lollipop.

It seems like Samsung is taking the Lollipop business quite seriously. Even if the company wasn't among the first to pick up the update, like LG or Motorola were, Sammy is doing its best to catch up and as far as we can see, it is successful in doing so.

Yesterday we got confirmation that the company is working on a Lollipop update for Galaxy Note II, which is a device that’s more than two years old. It’s encouraging to see that Samsung isn't forgetting about its older devices.

Going back to the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 3 LTE models, you’ll probably have to be a little patient. The roll-out has started but it might take a while before it reaches your respective device, depending on geographical location.

If you’re the more proactive type, you can try taking things in your own hands and manually check to see if the update has arrived on your handset. Go to Settings> About Phone> Software update menu.
