In the form of icons and wallpapers resembling those in KitKat

Last week, leaked Android 4.4 KitKat screenshots provided us with a better glimpse at what the next version of the OS will look like, and users can now customize their smartphones with a similar appearance.

It’s not the entire OS, but icons and wallpapers that resemble those inside Android 4.4 can be downloaded and installed on current Android devices, to give them a KitKat-like look.

As Droid-life notes, an all-in-one kit is available from XDA-Developers user ALESSIO94x, featuring a wallpaper and four icons (app drawer, phone, Google, and Google Settings) resembling those in Android 4.4.

Other similar personalization options are also available, one in the form of a variation of the Android 4.4 wallpaper, and another coming as an icon pack called Éternel. Of course, these are not official releases, but they can easily prove great replacements, that’s for sure.
