Android 4.4 KitKat has made it to India, first arriving to some Nexus 4 users. Now it appears the much hyped OTA update has been rolled out for the 3G version of the Nexus 7 2012 tablet too.

To confirm this, user Romario Fernandes has posted a picture on his Twitter account showing the “Android 4.4 System Update” on his Nexus 7 Wi-Fi+3G.

By looking at the screenshot one can see that the update is just 18GB in size and can be downloaded using a Wi-Fi connection. Note that you can download it until November 23, which probably suggests it will become available later on via the 3G network.

The KitKat update notification also highlights some new feats like the Emoji keyboard (for emoticons in the native Google Keyboard) and new Print function. Be sure to check your device to see if the update has popped in yet.
