South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has started to deliver the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system update for some more of its customers, including those who own an LG G Flex smartphone in its homeland market.

The update is rolling out to devices out there with some appealing enhancements packed inside, including the LG Knock Code, which was made official on LG G Pro 2 a few months ago.

The functionality provides users with the possibility to unlock their devices without entering their security code, though they do need to input a specific tap code for that.

At the same time, owners of LG G Flex will enjoy a variety of other enhancements, including better Bluetooth Car-Kit controls, as Engadget notes. On top of that, various performance improvements will also be delivered to the owners of this handset.

Owners of the LG G Flex in South Korea can now head over to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates and hit the check now button to see whether the new firmware release is available for them or not.

The update is arriving on devices over-the-air, and it should start rolling out to LG G Flex users in other markets as well in the not too distant future, so stay tuned.
