With just a month left until Google is expected to unveil the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the first screenshots of the platform have just leaked online.

The alleged photos show the Android 4.4 virtual keyboard, along with some icons that might prove confusing for some.

It appears that Google's deal with Nestle caught some of the search giant's engineers off guard, as they've been tagging the next major update for Android with the Key Lime Pie logo.

The screenshots showing the virtual keyboard reveals another new aspect about Android 4.4 KitKat. It looks like Google might replace the blue Holo theme with a white/grey one, as Phonearena points out.

Unfortunately, there's not much else to tell about Android 4.4. KitKat based on what we've seen in these screenshots, but we expect more to surface in the next few weeks.
