A few days ago, Google started to push the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system flavor to the Nexus 4 devices out there, and it seems that users in India are also receiving it now.

The new release is sent to users over-the-air, yet those interested in grabbing it before Google makes it available for their devices can already download and install it manually.

To check on the availability of the update, users should head over to Settings > About phone > Software update, and hit the Check now button. However, a notification will pop up on the device when the upgrade is available for download.

As part of the new release, users will get a nice range of enhancements, including an updated Google Now, the brand new Hangouts app that puts together all conversations, and other improvements as well, as BGR.in reports.
