US Cellular seems to be the first carrier in the country to kick off the rollout of the latest Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S5.

The operator has just revealed on its support website that Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900R) devices are now eligible for software version R4VXU1ANCF.

The update is available for download either OTA (over the air) or through Samsung Kies desktop software. Although it's not confirmed yet, US Cellular may push this upgrade in stages, so it might take a while until it reaches all Galaxy S5 units.

Android 4.4.3 KitKat has been released earlier today for all compatible Nexus devices, but Motorola announced its Moto E, Moto G and Moto X smartphones have already started receiving the new update.

The official changelog mentions there's a new dialer included in the update, but also lots of under-the-hood tweaking and bug fixes. In fact, there may be more than 700 bug fixes, tweaks and adjustments included in Android 4.4.3 KitKat.

The bad news is lots of Nexus owners have already complained of various bugs and issues after updating to Android 4.4.3 KitKat. Hopefully, these problems will be fixed in a future update. Have you captured the update at US Cellular yet?
