Nexus 7 users, we have good news for you. You better be prepared for a treat today because according to T-Mobile, the Android 4.4.3 update should be rolling out in a few hours over-the-air.

Even if the update does not constitute a major one, it will still bring important security enhancements and bug fixes, so keep an eye out.

As CultofAndroid points out, the new Nexus 7 build goes by the name “KTU84L” making the tablet one of the first devices to get the latest Google update, alongside the Nexus 5.

Presumably, the new build should reach devices on other carriers and in other regions around the same time.

An earlier report claimed the Android 4.4.3 update for both Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets would start appearing in the wild, starting May 23, but we all know that failed to materialize.

After all, Nexus devices will be getting Android 4.4.3 treatment, the new build will be rolled out for Google Play Edition devices, including the LG G Pad 8.3.

The new build will not bring about a host of fixes related to frequent data connection dropout, camera focus in regular and HDR mode, Power Management display wakelock, app shortcuts, Wi-Fi auto-connect, data usage graph fix and USB debugging security.
