Google has already started testing the next version of its Android operating system, one that is currently said to arrive on devices as Android 4.4.3 KitKat.

Moreover, a recent tweet from known developer LlabTooFeR unveils that the new platform version will feature build number KTU72B when released.

No specific info on what the update will bring along has been provided as of now, but chances are that it will resolve a camera bug in Nexus 5 devices.

Said bug manifests through an increase in CPU usage when the camera application is launched, and Google has already promised a fix for it in the next Android maintenance update.

However, since the issue is said to be actually plaguing only Nexus 5 handsets, the Android 4.4.3 KitKat OS version might also bring along a series of other enhancements, otherwise it would not make sense for it to be delivered to other devices out there as well.

No info on when the update might start arriving on smartphones and other Android devices has been provided as of now, but chances are that this will happen soon, since Google has already started testing it.

Most probably, the search giant will make a formal announcement on the matter in the next few weeks, so keep an eye on this space for additional details.
