South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has yet to provide specific info on when its latest handsets will be upgraded to the Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform, though the company has already confirmed info on some of its devices.

LG G Flex, the curved smartphone made official back in November, is set to get a taste of the upgrade sometime in the second quarter of the year, with the international version of the handset expected to receive it first.

A recent post on technosamigos notes that the LG G Flex (F340) in South Korea will taste the update next, and that the AT&T and T-Mobile versions of the device (D959 and D950) will be next in line to receive it.

The smartphone was made available with the Android 4.2 platform, but it seems that it will skip the Android 4.3 platform release. As mentioned above, LG has yet to deliver specifics on its plans for this phone’s updates, so stay tuned.
