More good news for US Cellular customers, as the carrier might kick off the rollout of the long-awaited Android 4.4.2 KitKat for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 later today.

We reported a few days ago that the major carrier planned to offer the KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy S4 beginning February 19 and now it looks like the Galaxy Note 3 devices are on track for the same upgrade.

The folks over at AndroidCentral have managed to get their hands on a US Cellular internal document, which confirms that February 19 is the day it will start the staggered rollout of the KitKat update.

The information comes in line with Samsung’s recently unveiled plans to offer the Android 4.4 KitKat update for most of its Galaxy smartphones available in the United States.

According to Samsung, the rollout of the update would start today, so we should wait and see which smartphones and tablets will be in the first wave of eligible devices.
