Owners of a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone out there might not have too long to wait before the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform is made available for their devices, as a new instance of the build has leaked online today.

This time around, the software is meant for the Telcel Mexico variant of the Galaxy Note 3 (model number SM-W9008).

The leak follows a previously spotted Android 4.4.2 KitKat build for the device, which emerged online last week and which was soon followed by reports on the official update being pushed to Galaxy Note 3 users in Poland.

Samsung has yet to provide specific info on when the owners of this device will be receiving the OS upgrade on their devices, though we expect this to happen in the not too distant future.

In the meantime, however, those who would like to learn more on what the platform upgrade will have to offer to them should have a look at the newly leaked ROM, which emerged over at AndroidMX.

Previously, we also had the chance to have a look at the official changelog that Samsung has published for the update in Poland.

The newly leaked software sports version number N900W8UBUCNA2 and is said to be only a pre-release build for the mobile phone.

As SamMobile notes, users interested in downloading and installing the ROM should be able to do so without voiding their warranty and without triggering the KNOX flag.

Android 4.4.2 KitKat will provide Galaxy Note 3 users with various performance improvements, as well as with low memory usage. Moreover, a series of UI changes were also featured in the new build, such as white status bar icons.

Other enhancements that KitKat will bring along include the option to change the default messaging application, as well as the launcher app, straight from the settings menu, as well as built-in wireless printing support.
