Yesterday, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation recommenced the deployment of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system to its HTC One devices in Europe, and the dual-SIM version of the device started receiving the update too today, it seems.

The new platform release, pulled several weeks ago due to a series of Wi-Fi issues, is now available for the HTC One dual-SIM in the UK, Russia, and in Nordic countries, a recent tweet from LlabTooFeR unveils.

Moreover, said post claims that the update is being delivered as build number 4.21.401.5 in UK and Russia, and that it will arrive on devices in Nordic countries as ROM version 4.21.402.5.

The update will provide users with all the enhancements that Android 4.4.2 KitKat has already been unveiled to include, such as support for cloud printing, performance improvements, security enhancements, and more.

The update will also come with HTC’s own Sense 5.5 user interface loaded on top, which should result in an overall improved experience for all users.

As usual, users should keep in mind that the update will be rolled out in stages, which means that it won’t appear for all of them right away. However, they can check for it manually by going to Settings > About phone > Software updates.
