HTC One mini is yet another smartphone to join the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean party, as HTC has reportedly started to push the OS upgrade to it.

The software arrives on handsets with the Sense 5.5 UI included, the same as it happened with the HTC One devices in late October.

The Android 4.3 update will provide users with a series of enhancements to Video Highlights, as well as with notification shade, an updated music interface, and various improvements to BlinkFeed, as pocketnow reports.

At the same time, the availability of Sense 5.5 on this device will allow users to disable BlinkFeed altogether, provided that they would rather enjoy the device without it.

According to a thread on the XDA-Developers Forum, HTC One mini at T-Mobile Hungary has started to receive the update as firmware version 2.12.401.1.

Users in other markets also started to see it emerging on their smartphones, including some in Romania, and Nordic Countries / Denmark.

The file weighs 631.7MB and indeed features the new Sense 5.5 user interface inside, along with all the other enhancements that it was announced with.

Furthermore, the actual OTA file has been already extracted from an updated HTC One mini and posted online, so that those who would like to take it for a spin could do so.

However, users should keep in mind that this is only a system dump, and that it would be safer to wait for the official update to arrive from HTC themselves.

The OS upgrade is being rolled out over-the-air in stages, which means that some users will have to wait a bit longer for it to arrive on their HTC One mini smartphones.

However, they can always go to Settings > About phone > Software update to see if it has arrived. Keep an eye on this space to learn more info on the matter.
