Bad news for HTC One owners who bought their devices through Verizon, as HTC has just confirmed that the long-awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update has been delayed.

According to Jason Mackenzie, head of HTC USA, the company needs more time to iron out the bugs found in the update: “HTC One Vz customers: we need more time to spin new SW & re-test 4.3 update. Approx a month. Appreciate your patience as we work to deliver.”

This means that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for HTC One may arrive at Verizon sometime in late November. More details on the exact release of the update will probably be available closer to launch.

Verizon seems to be the last US-based carrier that has yet to offer the promised Android 4.3 update for HTC One. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
