We reported a few days ago Canadian carrier Bell plans to kick off the rollout of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini on November 23.

Well, the information proved to be accurate as MobileSyrup reports numerous Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini users claim they have started to receive the said update.

An even better news is the fact that the update is now available at Bell, Rogers and TELUS carriers, so most customers who purchase these two Samsung smartphones will now be able to upgrade them to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

According to the cited source, the update is about 790MB is size, so it's recommended to download it via Wi-Fi network of Samsung Kies desktop software.

Aside from bringing the phone's software to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the update adds compatibility with Samsung Galaxy Gear and KNOX for consumers.

The official changelog also mentions the update offers improved performance (graphics, multimedia, Bluetooth, etc), as well as enhancements of the user interface and stability.

Furthermore, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini brings some user interface adjustment (icon change, etc) and lots of security enhancements, which have yet to be detailed.

Those who have yet to be notified on the update can manually check for it by going to Settings / About / Software update / Update.

Hopefully the rollout the update will not be suspended like many carriers were forced to do at Samsung's request.

Apparently, there are serious issues with this Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S III and Galaxy S4, as lots of users who upgraded their devices complained their smartphones have become unresponsive and laggy.

We will keep an eye out for any info on the current Android 4.3 upgrade for Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
