Good news for Samsung Galaxy Note II owners who purchased their phablets through Verizon, as the carrier is about to kick off the rollout of the long-awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for their devices.

XDA Developers reports that Verizon currently conducts a splash test for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Note II, so many owners have already received the update OTA (over the air).

While this is indeed an official build of the Android 4.3 ROM, the Big Red has yet to start the official deployment of the update.

This means that some things might still need to be ironed out, but if the test is successful, the carrier might launch the update within the next few days.
