Starting today, owners of the HTC One smartphone in India can download and install the Android 4.3 software update, HTC has officially announced.

The new operating system flavor will be delivered to users over-the-air, and will bring along the benefits of HTC Sense 5.5 UI, among other appealing enhancements, the company unveiled on Facebook.

Following the update, users will enjoy improvements to HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe, Sense TV, Video Highlights, HTC Share, Quick Settings, and more. To grab the new software, you should simply head over to Settings > About > Software Updates and hit the Check now button.

HTC One users should also make sure that they will download the update over a WiFi connection, as it could result in additional charges if downloaded over a carrier’s 3G network.

For the time being, the update is available only for the HTC One 3G. The dual-SIM flavor of the smartphone will receive it at a later date, HTC announced.
