Recently, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has started to deliver the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system to many of its users out there, and now those who own a Butterfly S smartphone can also enjoy it.

The handset vendor has reportedly started to roll out the update with some appealing enhancements packed inside, including the HTC Sense 5.5 user interface.

According to a recent tweet from LlabTooFeR, the software brings Video Highlights enhancements, including an updated interface, and the possibility to add soundtracks to videos.

Moreover, the new release includes a series of enhancements to the BlinkFeed, with more news resources, the option to save articles for offline reading, and the possibility to create custom feeds from sources such as Twitter, YouTube, and RSS.

Also, following the update, users will be able to access recommended news from their social network, it seems.

The new platform version also brings various improvements to Music, starting with an updated interface, and going up to the addition of embedded music channel with new scenes.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.5 also provides Butterfly S users with a series of enhancements for Sense TV, such as the possibility to add My Picks Page to improve program management.

The same as Video Highlights and Music, Sense TV has received an UI overhaul, being capable of delivering a new experience to those who take advantage of its capabilities.

The new platform upgrade, available for download as software version 2.21.708.1 and weighing 746.25MB, packs various other enhancements inside as well, along with a series of bug fixes.

There’s no telling on how long it will take for the updated OS version to arrive on all Butterfly S smartphones out there, but chances are that the rollout will be completed in a matter of weeks, if not days. Stay tuned for more on the matter.
