The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system update has finally started to roll out to the owners of Galaxy Note II (SGH-T889) smartphones on the network of wireless carrier T-Mobile.

The release is currently arriving on handsets as build number T889UVUCMK7, and it has already started to emerge on devices out there, TmoNews reports.

Android 4.3 is being delivered to T-Mobile’s customers over-the-air, and it should reach all of them in a matter of days.

However, users can also manually check on their devices to see whether the update has been released to them or not by going to Settings > About phone > Software updates.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update brings along a nice range of enhancements, including support for Galaxy Gear.

Furthermore, the updated platform release packs various performance enhancements, courtesy of TRIM support, as well as a series of RAM management optimizations.

Samsung KNOX was also included in the update, along with Samsung Wallet and a series of core UI elements from the Galaxy S4 smartphone.

What’s more, users will enjoy an updated Samsung Keyboard, along with updated GPS drivers and new lockscreen features, including Multiple Widgets, improved ripple effect, and more.

Other enhancements that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update comes with include Daydream, Driving mode, Actionable notifications, Move-to-SD-card, and a new Camera mode: Sound and Shot.

There are also a series of new additions to the Notification Center, along with a redesigned Settings UI and support for Voice controls.

As part of the new firmware upgrade, users will also enjoy a series of updated Samsung applications, such as Calculator, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, Music, support for screen Samsung apps, and a new S-Voice (from Galaxy S4).

The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean platform release is being pushed to T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note II (SGH-T889) in stages, so sit tight and wait for it to arrive, if no notification popped up until now. It should be there soon.
