Yesterday, Google started the delivery of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean for its latest Nexus devices, including the Takju Galaxy Nexus, and is now pushing it to Yakju devices as well, it seems.

Unfortunately, the OS upgrade is still available only for the GSM flavor of the smartphone, which means that Sprint and Verizon users will have to wait a bit longer for the platform to arrive on their handsets.

As usual, the update is being delivered in stages, which means that it might take a while before it is made available for all devices out there.

In addition to making the new OS available for more handsets, Google has also announced the availability of the Android 4.2 code in AOSP, which opens the door for ROM builders and developers to start playing with it.
