Further proof that an Android 4.2-based smartphone will arrive on the market with the codename of Occam attached to it has emerged online, courtesy of the AnTuTu benchmark.

The smartphone was spotted on the web before, and is said to be made by Motorola, yet no official announcement on it has been made so far.

However, it seems that the phone is alive and kicking, and that more people are testing its capabilities.

Occam has emerged in AnTuTu with a 10,844 score, while being powered by a 1.5GHz processor, most probably a quad-core one.

Occam is only one of the smartphones expected to arrive on shelves in the near future with Google’s new Android 4.2 platform loaded on it.

New Nexus devices have been already rumored to be launched by HTC, LG, Samsung and other vendors.
