Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has started to deliver a new software update for the owners of the HTC One X+ smartphone out there, providing them with the benefits of the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and HTC Sense 5.

According to a recent tweet from LlabTooFeR, the update is being pushed to users in Taiwan at the moment as version 2.17.709.2, though it might arrive in other markets as well soon.

The Sense 5 user interface should provide users with some appealing new features on their older devices, including the BlinkFeed homescreen, a new lockscreen, and more, as HTC explains on its support website.

The update should be delivered to users over-the-air, which means that a notification will pop up on their smartphones as soon as it is available for download.

However, those interested in grabbing it sooner than that can manually check for it through going to Settings > About phone > Software updates.
