The One XL was one of HTC's stars at Mobile World Congress 2012 and it's still one of its popular Android smartphones manufactured by the Taiwanese handset maker.

Although HTC confirmed that the One XL would receive a Jelly Bean upgrade, it was delayed several times by various carriers in different countries.

However, it looks like the rollout of the update has just started in a few Asian countries, the folks over at AndroidPolice report.

HTC currently deploys the update in Singapore and Taiwan, but is likely to go global with the rollout.

The new firmware version upgrades the smartphone's UI to Sense 4+ and adds new features and enhancements.

The update has about 660MB in size, so HTC One XL owners should make sure their devices are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
