Canadian carrier TELUS launched the HTC One X back in July with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box.

However, the Taiwanese handset maker announced that the One X would receive a Jelly Bean upgrade in the coming months.

Well, it looks like the time has come for TELUS customers who own the HTC One X to upgrade their devices to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

The folks over at MobileSyrup have just been tipped on the availability of the update. It appears that software version 3.17.661.2 is now pushed OTA (over the air) and has around 630MB in size, so we recommend users to download it via Wi-Fi.

Those who have yet to be notified on the update can manually check for it by going to Settings / About phone / System software updates / Check now.
