Although Motorola has already deployed the long-awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Wi-Fi only XOOM, the US-based company has yet to offer XOOM 3G/4G owners the possibility to upgrade their devices as well.

Rumors on the upcoming release of the ICS update for Verizon’s XOOM 3G/4G tablet pointed to a Q1 2012 launch, but Motorola had something else in mind.

Anyway, it looks like someone working “in some capacity” for Verizon Wireless managed to snag a screenshot with the release dates that have just come in at the carrier via Motorola.

According to this document, an Android 4.0 ICS update rollout is set to kick off on April 23. The update will be pushed OTA (over the air) and has 106MB in size. Stay tuned for more details on the matter.
