A new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone is expected to make an appearance on shelves in India soon, namely the A11 from Karbonn.

The phone has already been listed at Flipkart with no price tag next to it, but fonearena suggests it could go for less than Rs. 8,000 ($150 / €115).

The handset packs a 4.0-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touchscreen, a 1 GHz processor inside, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back. A front camera for video calling is also present.

It also comes with 3G (HSDPA 7.2Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS, microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, and a 1500 mAh battery.

One of the most appealing features of the device is its support for two SIM cards at the same time, with Dual Standby on GSM networks.
