Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus handsets have had the chance to get a taste of the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich platform version at the beginning of this month, and they can do the same now.

For unknown reasons, Verizon and Google decided at the time that they should remove the update from their servers, yet it seems that they are once again ready to deliver it to users.

Handset owners should expect the two companies to be pushing the software (version IMM76K) over-the-air to their devices soon.

The update weighs 40MB, which shows that it is now a full Android build. In fact, it is destined to be installed only on devices running stock software, which leaves those with custom ROMs out of the equation.

Those who would like to grab the new platform release can do so now straight from Google, via this link.
