Yesterday, Google started to deliver the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich platform for the owners of GSM Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus device out there, but left the Verizon flavor of the mobile phone out in the cold.

However, some enthusiast have already managed to come up with a special ROM for the mobile phone, based on the 4.0.4 AOSP build that Google has just released.

Specifically configured for the CDMA Galaxy Nexus on Verizon’s network, the new ROM will enable users to get a taste of the Android 4.0.4 platform that was pushed to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

However, it should be noted that this is not an official release, and that those who would like to install it will have to root their devices.

Those who would rather do this instead of waiting for the official release will find all of the necessary details available on rootzwiki.
