Vodafone Australia has just announced the upcoming availability of a small software update for Samsung Galaxy S II. The update is available for handsets sold both by Vodafone and by 3-Mobile carriers.

According to the carrier, Android 4.0.3 ICS for Galaxy S II is pushed in stages, so not all owners will receive the update at the same time.

There’s also a small changelog attached to Vodafone statement, which explains that this is just a maintenance update meant to fix two bugs related to Email connectivity. An update to Google Mobile Services suite is included as well.

For the time being, this small update is only available via Samsung Kies for Galaxy S II units sold by 3-Mobile. On the other hand, Vodafone Galaxy S II owners can update either via FOTA (firmware over the air) or through Samsung Kies.
