Motorola announced yesterday that the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update is only available for unlocked ATRIX units in the UK.
According to the company, Orange UK and the rest of Europe, retailers and carriers were slated to receive the update within a week.
However, it looks like Motorola changed its mind and delivered the upgrade earlier than expected.
The folks over at Eurodroid have just been tipped about the availability of the Orange 2.3.4 Gingerbread update, which can be downloaded through the Motorola’s online update service.
The official change log shows that the Orange Motorola ATRIX devices will get the same new features and improvements as the unlocked units.
On related news, Motorola mentioned that T-Mobile UK customers who own Motorola ATRIX smartphone will get the update within a week.
